Disposal Considerations SMALL - Wipe with rag or rinse with clean water. In case of large spills, wear suitable protective clothing and safety goggles. Absorb onto inert material such as sand or earth.
Dispose of as Controlled Waste, via a licensed contractor ensuring that all national and local authority requirements are complied with.
Handling And Storage 14. Transport Information. Avoid contact with eyes. Do not ingest. Storage Keep in original containers. Store between 0°C and 50°C.
Protect from sunlight to avoid slight discolouration.
We asked the Hospital Infection Research Laboratory in Birmingham to carry out extensive tests regarding the fact STERI-7 has a residual effect which is reactivated when the surface is wiped with a damp cloth. These claims were confirmed in a report which can be obtained in full upon request.
