STERI-7 is a breakthrough in cleaning because it provides greater hygiene for less cost and effort. It is both a cleaner and a disinfectant, yet unlike normal disinfectants it keeps killing germs long after it’s been applied. This ensures treated areas remain protected between cleaning cycles, when the threat of contamination is greatest.
STERI-7 makes a desktop as clean as a surgical instrument – and keeps it clean for days. This is because of an innovation called RBT (Residual Barrier Technology), which allows STERI-7 to provide double protection against germs. When applied to a worktop, floor, wall, door, sink or even a fabric, the biocide in Steri-7 kills the germs present. At the same time, a lasting barrier is created that ensures that germs subsequently introduced to it will also be killed, just as effectively 24/7.
Because STERI-7 keeps working once dried, you’ll find that areas that you normally need to thoroughly clean frequently will remain sterile with significantly fewer, or quicker, cleans. The result is significant time savings and to quantify them, we asked i-Clean™ (a Cleaning Management System licensed by the British Institute of Cleaning Science) to calculate the time cost per square metre of using STERI-7 instead of normal cleaners.
STERI-7’s residual barrier means that if cleaners miss an area, as will happen from time to time, the area will remain contamination-free until it is next cleaned. And with bacteria and viruses all around us, that’s a reassuring thought.
